The ultimate big (hot) dogs 3 ways!
I’m missing the 4th of July, and plenty of other hot dog grilling opportunities with my family back home, but I recently tried Dino’s regular dogs, so when they asked me if I’d be interested in sharing 3 ways to make their Brooklyn Big Dogs - I was totally down! You can essentially get everything from Dino’s Famous plus grab some brioche buns and you’re ready to grill up! These hot dogs are so big, there is honestly no bun big enough! Personally, I like that as it means the last bite is just as hot-dog-full as the first. I hadn’t tried hot dogs from a jar before these, have always just bought the ones in plastic packaging, but it’s nice to know that I can re-use the jar or recycle it.
The three different recipes for making these hot dogs are below:
The Brooklyn Burner: Chilli Stackers, Spicy Ketchup, Mustard, Crispy Onions and chilli flakes or jalapenos.
The New York Classic: Original Stackers, Spicy Ketchup, Mustard, Crispy Onions, melted cheddar and crispy bacon bits.
The One of Everything: Sweet Stackers, Spicy Ketchup, Mustard, Crispy Onions
My favourite is the one of everything, I’m a classic gal -- takes me back to sitting in the outfield at Dodger’s Stadium watching (or pretending to watch) the baseball on a Friday night in high school! Josh went for The New York Classic, and I’m not surprised because whenever there’s melted cheese involved, you can get he’s there.
Dino’s use premium beechwood smoked pork in our hot dogs and nothing else - and you can really taste the quality. Be sure to hit save on this video so you can make your own stacked Big Dog! Dino’s Famous are stocked in Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Tesco and have just launched in Waitrose!
