Creamy burrata on toasted baguette, drizzled in truffle olive oil & cracked pepper 🥖
She’s back again because we love her!! The simplest of cheesy meals can sometimes be the best and this burrata toast never seems to fail me. In times of need, happy days or just when I want a big glass of Chardonnay alongside it🥂
Ingredients:
2 burrata balls, insides scooped out
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp truffle oil
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
¼ baguette, cut in half and toasted
Method:
Simply take your toasted baguette halves, place your scooped out burrata evenly across both toasts, drizzle your oils, sprinkle your salt and pepper, plate and enjoy. The sooner you eat, the better as the burrata will eventually make the crispy bread soften over time. You can opt to omit the truffle oil if you prefer without and add other flavours like roasted tomatoes for a sweeter, candy-like sweetness.
