Croissant waffles & Carte Noire Classique ground coffee
Summer in London = strawberries and cream, and with a perfect crispy, buttery croissant, and a hot coffee, it’s the perfect twist on a french breakfast!
Ingredients: (serves 2-3)
3 croissants, fresh from the bakery
270ml cream
2 large handful strawberries, chopped
1 big squeeze of honey
(Yes, those are the only ingredients)
So simple, and so delicious, heat your waffle iron. When hot, pop your croissants in and leave for a few minutes, until deep brown in the indents (where the waffle iron presses in). Whip your cream in a bowl. Serve with your hot croissant waffles on a plate, scoop your whipped cream on top, sprinkle strawberries on top and drizzle a little honey. Sip your Carte Noire Classique ground coffee & enjoy!
