Korean BBQ beef & crispy pork

Korean BBQ beef & crispy pork

Ever since I got the George Foreman Flexe Grill, I’ve been wanting to try Korean BBQ because the heat this grill has when laid open is perfect for it! I went for pork belly thinly sliced and cooked until crispy, alongside juicy beef! Cooks so quickly and easily, perfect for diving into right away. Serve with some rice, kimchi, and anything else you’d like for your KBBQ on the side.

This is one of my first times delving into Korean cooking and I can’t wait to learn more and keep trying new things. Tips from the pros are really welcome!

I hope to try this again soon because it was so good. I used brisket meat this time as I couldn’t find bulgogi meat prepped in the store, but the bulgogi is usually cooked with a thicker nice cut of steak, sliced so will have to try that next time - regardless, still delicious.

Ingredients:
Thinly sliced beef
Thinly sliced pork belly
Bulgogi marinade (I used store-bought)
Toasted sesame oil
Salt
Chopped spring onions
Sesame seeds
*I used about 5-7 slices per meet per person

Mix your beef and bulgogi marinade together and leave in the fridge to marinate for at least 15min. When ready, season the pork with toasted sesame and a pinch or two of salt. Heat your grill and fold it all the way 180 degrees (flat). Pop the beef on one side and the pork on the other. The meats should both cook very quickly so keep an eye on them! When ready, enjoy with spring onion and sesame seeds on top! I’d also recommend doing a more proper kbbq style with the grill on the table and cook as you go.
