Soft, pull apart flatbreads with a creamy feta and dill dip

Soft, pull apart flat flatbreads with a creamy feta and dill dip!

Since I figured out how to make flat breads, I’m pretty much making them every possible occasion so I’ve partnered with Fab Flour and The National Association of British and Irish Millers again for their Easy Peasy Baking campaign. Through this, they’re showing us that baking can be done with minimal ingredients and equipment! For more super easy recipes like these flatbreads, that don’t take too much time, money, equipment or ingredients, you can head on over to the Fab Flour page for new ideas!

I decided to make a simple, creamy dill and garlic dip to pair with these flatbreads for snacking! I put some aside in the fridge for Josh and I to share before dinner after having it as a snack, and came home… and it had disappeared… Josh had a huge grin on his face - he had actually eaten almost all of it! Doubling up on this next time and going to keep it in an even bigger bowl.

Flatbread Ingredients:
200g self-raising flour
½ tsp baking powder
200g natural yoghurt
100g melted butter
1 tsp cumin seeds

For the flatbreads, combine the flour, baking powder and cumin seeds in the mixing bowl, then add the yoghurt and 30g of the melted butter to form a dough. Lightly flour your work surface. Turn out the dough onto the floured surface and knead for a few minutes. Heat up your frying pan to a medium-high heat. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll out into 15-20cm circles. Place each one into the hot pan one at a time and cook for 2 minutes on each side until slightly puffed and toasted. Once cooked, rub them with the remaining melted butter and serve whole or sliced into strips for dipping.

Creamy Feta & Dill Dip Ingredients:
10g dill
1 very small garlic clove
1 tsp turmeric
200g plain yogurt
300g feta cheese
30g butter, melted

Blend altogether in your blender, garnish with dill and fresh crumbled feta! I’ve added some classic marinated tomatoes on top. Enjoy!
