Cook-a-long: Quick + Easy Pita Chip Recipe

Craving some crunch? I was yesterday, so I grabbed the pita out of my boyfriend’s hands (not literally) and stuck them in the oven (the pita, not his hands).

Here’s the recipe for 15 minute pita chips that taste like you got them out of a packet…

Ingredients: 2 wholemeal pita, 2 generous drizzles of olive oil, sprinkle of salt, sprinkle of garlic (if you’re not talking to anyone later), baking paper, baking tray + your oven!

How to:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 celsius on FAN, and cut your pita into bite size triangles (or shapes..)

  2. Place your baking sheet onto your baking tray and drizzle olive oil over sheet

  3. Lay your cut up pieces of pita on the sheet (rip double layer pieces to make them single layer for extra crispiness)

  4. Drizzle olive oil on top and press pita pieces into oil until all are completely oil absorbed

  5. Salt and garlic sprinkles on top if you’re adding seasoning

  6. Place in oven and set timer for 10 minutes, check and cook until desired crispiness (usually 12-14 mins)

  7. Dunk in some dip and enjoy!
