Spicy grilled prawn & chorizo tapas
Spanish food is one of my favourites, and when I head out to get tapas, I always order grilled prawns, so let’s make them my way -- plated up with some juicy chorizo! All of these gorgeous ingredients are from Farmdrop - it’s nice to know exactly where my seafood is coming from, and support more local produce and seafood!
Ingredients:
500g prawns (shelled, keep tails on)
190g chorizo, sliced
1 chilli, chopped finely
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tbsp tomato paste
+ olive oil
Heat your grill gently (or frying pan). Marinate prawns in chilli, garlic, smoked paprika, tomato paste and olive oil for about 10 mins. While prawns marinate. Pop your chorizo on the grill to cook for a few minutes until juicy. Once fully heated (only a few minutes), remove chorizo and add prawns. Grill until white & opaque. Serve up while hot with chorizo tossed in a bowl. I added some Perello olives, anchovies and Torres crisps on the side. Grab a toothpick, or fork, and enjoy!
