Thai turkey cakes
Thai turkey cakes served with a crunchy coleslaw, sweet chilli sauce, lime and mint on soft brioche buns - super easy lunch or dinner in less than 20 minutes!
These Thai turkey cakes from The Turkey Kitchen are quick and fuss-free and filled with authentic spices and flavours inspired by the Thai cuisine. I grilled these up and warmed our brioche buns and served everything buffet style so Josh and I could each pile our buns high with all the additions. My go-to coleslaw recipe is in my highlights if you want to make that as a side dish or pop it on top of the turkey cakes. We were low on sweet chilli sauce but the pack actually comes with some so crisis averted! Josh actually turned to me while we were eating and said “if we are going to have a bbq or grill anything in the future, these have to be on your shopping list again” so I think that seals the deal.
Since lockdown, we have been eating a lot more turkey trying to focus on lean meats when we can so having the entire Turkey Kitchen range made from British-farmed turkey and is healthy and rich in protein was ideal. Plus price-wise the range starts at £3.50 and is available at Morrisons, ASDA, and Sainsbury’s.
