Ultimate Burrata Salad
So simple, easy and utterly luxurious, a caprese style salad made with burrata is exactly that. Get up close and personal with the creamy burrata, fresh mint and basil leaves, deep red tomatoes and vibrant olive oil. Spice it up a little with a dash of pepper and some Cornish sea salt, and don’t even get bread until the plate is clean because the combination of fresh, rich and bright is so taste-bud tingley that you won’t need it until there’s just a mix of all the juices at the bottom of the plate.
Ingredients:
1 burrata, pulled apart into about 1 inch pieces
4-5 vine tomatoes (these are medium to large sized) sliced into 1 cm slices
½ handful of mint leavess
½ handful of basil
dash of Cornish salt
dash of pepper
drizzle of olive oil
Method:
Arrange tomato slices into about 1 or two layers, add on burrata, sprinkle your leaves and add the salt and pepper on top. Drizzle your olive oil. Grab a rustic bread or just go straight in with a fork (or your hands).
