Bottomless Afternoon Tea at Teatulia, Covent Garden

Afternoon tea is one of my favourite things about living in the UK. No other country quite does it the same, or as often.

Teatulia is an organic tea retailer, with a tea bar and store on Neal Street in Covent Garden. All of Teatulia’s tea is 100% organic and comes from their garden in Bangladesh.

We were lucky enough to have been invited for a bottomless afternoon tea at the shop where we could try their tea infused cakes, organic tea and hot drinks, and delicious pastries.

The tea brewing experience is more fun that your typical teapot, as you get a pot of tea and a strainer with the leaves of the tea of your choice inside, as well as a timer. The staff explained that we set the timer, drop the strainer into the glass pot (my favourite!!) and once the timer beeps (it’s preset by the staff) then your tea is ready! This was more interactive and I adore glass teapots and mugs - so I was in serving-ware heaven.

The vegan brownie and the black tea was delicious, so was everything actually, but the oat milk hot chocolate and the super moist poppy seed muffin were my favourite. The hot chocolate actually has to go down as one of the best I’ve had.

The cutest bit is that dogs are allowed, so my friend Hannah could bring her dog with her into London without any worries. The staff were so friendly with the dog and offered treats, and water, too, so he didn’t miss out on the experience either.

The tea costs £20 for bottomless tea and 2 cakes (per person price) and you can upgrade for mocktails (£30/person) or tea infused cocktails (£40/person) depending on what the occasion is!

Not to forget, you can book this anytime of day, so you aren’t restricted to “afternoon” tea, but can have anytime tea!
