Burrata & Truffle Baguette Toasts
Perfect for breakfast, lunch or as a pre-dinner snack (or appetiser) with an Aperol spritz or glass of rosé in hand, these creamy burrata toasts are the most moreish delight.
Ingredients:
2 burrata balls, insides scooped out
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp truffle oil
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
¼ baguette, cut in half and toasted
Method:
Simply take your toasted baguette halves, place your scooped out burrata evenly across both toasts, drizzle your oils, sprinkle your salt and pepper, plate and enjoy. The sooner you eat, the better as the burrata will eventually make the crispy bread soften over time. You can opt to omit the truffle oil if you prefer without and add other flavours like roasted tomatoes for a sweeter, candy-like sweetness.
